Michael P. Bonner brings more than two decades of experience in business and real estate law, offering trusted counsel to corporations, financial institutions, and private clients throughout New Jersey.
Graduating magna cum laude from Seton Hall University with dual majors in History and Political Science, Michael went on to earn his Juris Doctor from New York Law School. Over the years, he has developed extensive expertise in commercial real estate transactions, zoning and development, business and asset transfers, and corporate finance.
Michael began his career with several of New Jersey’s top law firms before founding and managing the Commercial Department of one of Union County’s largest firms. His professional experience includes representing Fortune 500 companies and maintaining a 25+ year relationship with one of the largest grocery distribution and supermarket chains in the United States.
He has also served as Senior Editor for Thomson-Reuters’ Practical Law Division, contributing to publications on New Jersey real estate transactional law.
Deeply committed to civic and charitable service, Michael has played an active role in multiple organizations. He has held leadership positions with the Union County Chamber of Commerce and the Union County Alliance, including Vice Chairman and member of both Boards of Trustees. His work has supported key infrastructure projects in Union County, Newark/Elizabeth Harbor, and throughout New Jersey.
